ARE YOU READY TO JOIN US FOR OUR NEXT CENTURY OF IMPACT?

Our best investment in the future is to build a solid spiritual foundation in children today.  In a confusing world, Christian education is more important than ever.  Chicago Christian Schools has a vision to restore God's world by providing a Christ-centered education.  Modernizing and expanding our campuses will support dynamic and engaging education, expand our space as enrollment grows, and reinvigorate our school community. By investing today, we can ensure our school flourishes - now and in the future.  But we cannot accomplish this alone.

WE NEED YOU.

When you give today, you will support quality education that:
Focuses on the centrality of Christ
Celebrates the diversity of our community
Transforms students through their ownership of learning
Develops God given gifts with expanded opportunities
Invests in students through committed faculty

Creates a lasting impact for God's kingdom

Campaign Update

Chicago Christian Schools maintains a bold vision that every Christian family throughout the entire Chicago Southland would have access to an excellent Christ-centered education.  Our Preparing for the Next Century Capital Campaign is intended to propel momentum for the next century of impact and growth.   We launched our public fundraising campaign in the fall of 2023 and broke ground on construction at our high school campus in November of 2024.  We are planning for construction to begin at our Tinley Park and Oak Lawn Campuses during the 25-26 school year.

Chicago Christian High School

Our focus is to create multi-functional learning and community spaces. The new Student Commons will house a modern cafeteria with serving and seating, but it will also serve as a flexible space for learning and gathering. It will include a new concessions area and coffee bar, a welcoming entrance to the school and our athletics area, and a connection to the front of the high school, complete with a ramp for accessibility. We have strategically created the Student Commons to be supportive of future growth. These plans lay a solid foundation for additional expansion in the years to come.  Additionally, we’ve launched a vision to build the Chicago Christian Center for Vocational Leadership.  This plan brings back robust vocational trade instruction, but this space will not be limited to just teaching trades. It will have a higher purpose as our Center for Vocational Leadership, a place where the trades, business, entrepreneurship, STEM, and leadership training are interwoven. We believe that with our community’s history, tradition, and legacy, Chicago Christian can be a leader for what’s possible with this type of programmatic approach.  This space will also house our new Robotics space.

Finally, we plan to update our Library/Media Center to accommodate co-curricular needs, conference rooms for breakout sessions, and flexible learning. In addition, the high school office and counseling area will be modernized and reconfigured to better meet the needs of our students and staff.

Tinley Park Campus

The focus at Tinley Park is to create multi-functional learning and community spaces, along with a modern gymnasium to support our athletics programs. We will build a new entryway with updated main office space as well as a new commons area to serve as a connector of community life.  A new library will add room for robust academic support and learning spaces.  We are adding a significant amount of flexible learning space throughout the building to ensure our learning environment caters to every student's needs.  Our gym spaces will receive significant renovation, including new seating, flooring, lighting, and HVAC to ensure our students have access to excellent co-curricular spaces.  Finally, we plan to build two new classrooms to ensure our Tinley Park campus is positioned for continued growth.

Oak Lawn Campus

We renovated our Oak Lawn campus a few years ago to modernize and create flexible learning and community spaces. These spaces are well used, and we are excited to have them soon at Tinley Park and Chicago Christian! At Oak Lawn, our focus is accessibility and providing a modern gymnasium to fully support our athletic programs. Similar to TP and CCHS, OL will receive a new commons entryway that connects to a renovated gymnasium.  This renovated gym space will create an excellent K-8 competition gym that also serves as a hub for community events.  Our plan for this gym will provide seating and visibility for our guests and fans, adding bleachers to seat 250 people. To address our accessibility issues, we are installing a new elevator providing access to the gym floor and the 2nd floor of the main building.

From our Community

I'm so glad we have the opportunity to gather twice a week for worship and chapel. It's a great thing to see a whole bunch of kids my own age, praising God.
- Damaris Salcedo, Senior-Chicago Christian High School

I chose Chicago Christian High School for the community. Not only were the teachers welcoming from the very beginning, it was my classmates too that I was able to foster relationships with over four years and that I've maintained until this very day.  That community made me feel like I belonged to something.  At CCHS, you can be yourself and still be Christ-like.
